Blind Dating….with books!
Chisholm Catholic College Library > love of readingYear 8 students partook in a special activity in their recent LORAX (Love Of Reading is Awesome and eXciting) lessons. Students were surprised to find they would be participating in blind speed dating… with books! The students went on 6 dates in their LORAX session, becoming acquainted with each of their dates by looking at its front cover, reading the blurb and delving into the first few pages, before moving on to their next date. All students embraced the session, engaging with a wide range of genres, some students even found a date to take home.
